Lydia is a native of the Fulton area with deep family roots here in the community. After earning her dental assistant degree, she realized that was not her true passion thus leading her to her current position with us here at The Callaway Bank while continuing with her drive-in helping others.  

When she is not immersing herself in reading an enjoyable book or revamping a room in her home with creative decor, she can be found diving into some retail therapy or spending time with her pets. While her volunteering has taken a backseat lately, she is eager to dive back into the community and help again.  

 Lydia thrives on the opportunity to assist and reassure people that she is here to help them every step of the way. She is part of a supportive team dedicated to guiding clients through every financial process. Here at the Bank, she feels this close-knit group is a second family and enjoys sharing that same feeling with everyone she helps.   

Hailing from an agricultural community in Michigan, Madison has always felt a deep connection to farm life. Between 2018 and 2021, she embarked on a journey across the country, seeking new experiences and opportunities. During a dairy science internship in Florida, followed by a brief stop in Iowa, Madison’s passion for community and community-building opportunities grew. Now proud to call Mid-Missouri home, she is grateful for the chance to support communities in Callaway, Boone and all mid-Missouri counties.

Madison’s deep-rooted agricultural background and commitment to community service make her a valuable asset to The Callaway Bank’s Business Banking Team. Since joining the Bank, she has become known for her enthusiasm and dedication to client care. Her agricultural experience has endowed her with strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach, enabling her to excel in supporting local businesses.

Her most rewarding moments here at The Callaway Bank are spent championing the bank’s newest business clients, whether it’s assisting with grand openings or offering support at events. Knowing that she plays a vital role in meeting their banking needs, enabling them to focus on their enterprises.

Jacob Pestle, VP is the Business Banking Manager for The Callaway Bank.

A graduate of Rock Bridge High School, he also attended Columbia College. An Eagle Scout, Pestle attributes Boy Scouts Troop 4, Columbia with teaching him lifelong values and the importance of building good character to prepare him to be a conscientious and responsible leader in the banking industry.

Pestle is a member of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce and is a resident of Columbia, MO.

Kelli Desmond is a Deposit Documentation Specialist at The Callaway Bank. Born and raised in mid-Missouri, she’s served the banking needs of Ashland-area residents since 2018. Her years of industry experience offer helpful insight to both personal and commercial banking customers.

While Kelli has worked at institutions of all sizes, she was drawn to The Callaway Bank for its abilities to offer the best of both worlds — small town connections with big opportunities. Outside of the Bank, she enjoys spending time with her daughters. From traveling to cooking and DIY projects, she also enjoys a challenge and has an inclination for adventure.
